Today, we will examine platinum.
Despite a shift of the tariff deadline for 1 August, it seems that the US government declared tariffs for a couple of dozen countries.
Platinum – Daily Chart Cycles
Platinum (PL) had an amazing 50% run in 3 months, after years of sideways-to-down price action.
What is behind this move?
I do not know, but I will look at targets and long-term cycles in the Pro section.
Sentiment & Technical Analysis
The CNN’s Fear & Greed Index is still in Extreme Greed, just barely.
Although we may still see higher highs later this year, the percentages of S&P 500 stocks above 50D (top) and 200D (bottom) MAs are forming negative divergences relative to the price.
