Yesterday we looked at a bearish engulfing Japanese candlestick pattern in SMH. Belew is a nice Cup & Handle technical pattern. The projection target was almost perfectly met, followed by a strong reversal.

Semis vs S&P500. Reminds you of something?

Another way to look at the weakening market structure. Risks increase when momentum and mkt cap lead. Only other dates where both factors returned +20% LTM: 1998, 2000, 2007, 2020.
