Today, we will review some interesting crypto developments.
On Wednesday, I mentioned rotation out of software and large-cap technology stocks.
Aside from a blood bath in cryptocurrencies, Tech/AI CAPEX seem to have concerned investors most in the second half of the week, before a strong rebound on Friday.
Pundits focused on investor reassessment of massive AI infrastructure spending Alphabet and Amazon's, and Microsoft's cloud/AI guidance vs. near-term earnings/returns.
This triggered a rotation from high-valuation Mag 7/tech stocks into value, small-caps, and defensive sectors.
Crypto Capitulation and Extreme Low Sentiment
I warned on Wednesday that crypto sentiment may make a new low, which indeed happened on Thursday.
The capitulation in crypto may give rise to a tradeable rebound. Indeed, cryptocurrencies already rebounded very strongly on Friday.
Is it a cat bounce or something more?
My cycle analysis Bitcoin/NDX ratio from a few days ago already suggested that Bitcoin may outperform NASDAQ 100 in the next several months.
Bitcoin should also outperform Gold.

What’s Next for the Stock Market?
We expected a stock market choppiness and identified a rotation out of some overvalued technology sectors; The “intense” rotation caused the volatility in individual stocks to exceed the volatility of the S&P 500 index.
Things played out largely as expected.
