Coffee Futures (KC) – Cycles

• KC may experience some weakness in Q4’24, as per daily cycles.

• However, the weekly cycles are supportive until mid-25.

• These are challenging situations to trade. Best opportunities arise when cycles on multiple time frames point in the same direction.

Chinese Market Update

• FXI ETF is bouncing, but the bounce in 2024 is corrective. I still expect a lower low, although nimble traders may scalp this bounce.

• The next significant cycle trough is 2+ years away, as per dominant cycles, 18M and 3.5Y, on the weekly chart.

  • I expect a down Friday…

  We got both.

  • Asia was green on Friday, while Europe and the U.S. were red, except DJI, which was barely green.

  • Dow advanced 38.17 points or 0.09% to 42,063.36.

  • S&P 500 declined 11.09 points or -0.19% to 5,702.55.

  • Nasdaq declined 65.66 points or -0.36% to 17,948.32.

  • Russell 2000 declined 24.68 points or -1.1% to 2,228.03.
