The financial sector ETF, XLF, dominant cycle suggests a weakness for the financial sector in 2026.
Sentiment & Technical Analysis
The CNN’s Fear & Greed Index is in Greed.
NYSE Adv/Dec line should lead the stock market to new highs.
I mentioned last week that I would not be surprised if the McClellan Summation Index (MSI), $NYSI in the chart, whipsawed.
It did turn up and above the 5D EMA.
However, as the SPX wedge (ending diagonal) is being completed into the upper Bollinger Band boundary, the MSI may whipsaw again.
