AI-ighty Potential
Dubbed the "the rocket fuel of AI" by Wired, this groundbreaking innovation has sparked fervent excitement across Wall Street. And with projections soaring to a potential market cap of $80 trillion – equivalent to 41 Amazons – the magnitude of its impact cannot be overstated.
But here's the real deal: nestled within this tech revolution lies an opportunity for sharp investors to invest in a remarkable company poised to dominate its corner of this burgeoning market.
And thanks to The Motley Fool, the full narrative of this extraordinary tech trend has been compiled into an exclusive report, designed to arm you with the insights needed to make informed investment decisions.
Today we will scratch the surface of the newest craze on the Wall Street – Quantum Computing. What is it? Is it for real? Who are the main players? …

Quantum Computing – A Myth or Reality?
Quantum computing is a revolutionary field that leverages the principles of quantum mechanics to perform calculations far beyond the capabilities of classical computers.
Quantum computing holds immense promise, but it's a complex and rapidly evolving field. It has the potential to revolutionize many aspects of our lives, but it's important to note that it's still a work in progress.
This is a simplified explanation of quantum computing. The field is highly complex and involves advanced physics and mathematics. Those non-technologically inclined may skip the grey part (Key Concepts).
Key Concepts:
Qubits: Unlike classical bits that represent either 0 or 1, qubits can exist in a superposition of both states simultaneously. This allows quantum computers to explore multiple possibilities at once.
Entanglement: Qubits can become entangled, meaning their states are linked, regardless of the distance between them. This creates powerful correlations that can be exploited for computation.
How it Works:
Quantum computers use these unique properties to perform complex calculations exponentially faster than classical computers on certain types of problems. This has the potential to revolutionize fields like:
Drug discovery: Simulating molecular interactions to design new medicines.
Materials science: Developing new materials with enhanced properties.
Financial modeling: Creating more accurate and sophisticated financial models.
Artificial intelligence: Developing more powerful AI algorithms.
Cryptography: Breaking current encryption methods and developing new, more secure ones.
Current State:
Quantum computing is still in its early stages of development. While significant progress has been made, building large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers remains a significant challenge.
Who are the Main Players (a non-exhaustive list)?
IonQ (IONQ): A pure-play quantum computing company that has been publicly traded since 2021.
Microsoft (MSFT): A tech giant with significant quantum computing research and development investments.
Alphabet (GOOGL): The parent company of Google, which has a dedicated quantum computing research team and is exploring various applications of the technology.
IBM (IBM): A long-standing player in the tech industry with a strong presence in quantum computing, offering cloud-based access to its quantum computers.
Honeywell (HON): An industrial conglomerate with a growing quantum computing division.

IonQ (IONQ)
IONQ is technically overbought and pulling back into the Bollinger Band (BB).
A consolidation can take it to the middle of BB, which is presently at 22 and still rising.
Notice negative divergences in RSI and Money Flow Index at the most recent peak, suggesting some correction.
The technical carry a signature of a third wave since the Dec’22 low.
My expectation is for a 4-5 (down-up) sequence to complete a 5-wave impulse since Dec’22 low.

The daily cycle composite also suggests that a correction is due.
The c-RSI (cyclic-RSI) is also curling down from a negative divergence at the price peak.

The $100 Trillion Opportunity in AI?
The rise of AI is shaping up to be bigger than any financial trend we’ve seen before. According to seasoned investor James Altucher, this next-gen AI revolution could create a $100 TRILLION industry, and early investors could stand to benefit. He’s even laid out how a $10K investment might turn into $1 million over the coming years. Want to see the details?
