SPX McClellan Summation Index (MCCSI)

The MCCSI is used in technical analysis and can be used to identify bullish or bearish bias and the strength of the trend.
It has turned down a few days ago.
It is an excellent indicator for swing trading.
However, it did not work in January-February 2024 and May-June 2024. While most stocks were correcting, Magnificent 7 stocks were still pushing up. These instances were rare distortions on the MCCSI.
